Election integrity advocates from across Georgia gathered outside the Capitol in Liberty Plaza this morning to hear from election integrity experts on their latest findings and demands for legislative change.

.

Paper Ballots Please organized the event which provided data to the attendees that could then be shared with legislators returning for the first day of the legislative session.

Following several presentations, attendees were broken into subgroups and guided into both the Capitol and Coverdell buildings to approach and converse with Senators and House members.

Attendees politely approached their representatives in the Capitol and provided a copy of the groups' demands for Election changes in Georgia along with direct feedback on Bills deemed appropriate or conversely unacceptable.

The biggest agenda item was to ask for the legislature to define a different method mechanism for voting in Georgia, preferably hand-marked paper ballots with hand counting at the precinct level.

Following the recent Court finding in favor of True the Vote - citizens commitment to clean, accurate, timely voter rolls across Georgia Counties has once again exploded with many citizens talking about efforts to challenge ineligible registrations in their home Counties.
