When delegates arrived at the Georgia GOP State Convention they had been given little if any written information beforehand.
Even the list of proposed Delegates to be sent to the Republican National Convention was not provided in written handouts.
Selection and confirmation of this Delegate list is arguably one of the most important functions for an election-year convention.
Instead, the list of at-large Delegates and Alternates was displayed via a powerpoint slide in the front of the room. Some delegates later said they had trouble reading the list because of lighting or distance.
Questions regarding the reason for these expenditures have never been answered.
Other payments of nearly $200,000.00 were found to have been made to Rosetta Stone from the Fulton County GOP in the same general timeframe.

Trump has consistently maintained that the 2020 election was rigged. Election integrity experts have shown that Dominion Voting System machines are easily hackable which opens the system to potential fraud.
Inclusion of a lobbyist from Dominion Systems and referring to him as part of a "Trump Slate" was described as offensive by many Trump supporters.
Rufus Montgomery was selected by McKoon as chairman of the nominations committee which placed Garst's name on the list. After creation of the Delegate list, the nomination committee was brought on stage to recognize their work.
The convention process allows for delegates to be challenged and replaced and in fact a motion was made to remove Garst’s name and replace it with Tiffany Savage. Shortly thereafter Garst removed his name from consideration as a potential delegate.
But surprisingly, Garst surfaced once again at the RNC. He was pictured enjoying a boat ride with Josh McKoon and others. How did he get there, who invited him?
The RNC concluded with a final Speech by Trump and the expected balloon drop, which this time unexpectedly included Red, White, Blue and GOLDEN balloons. Perhaps harbingers of a "Golden Age?"
