Per state law, City Councilpersons are to resigned to run for another office.

Current State Representative Lynn Riley has been tapped by Gov Deal to lead the Revenue Dept and will resign her newly elected seat.

Saturday, Kelly Stewart announced her campaign to be the next State Representative.

Last night, Brad Raffensperger announced he will run for Lynn Riley's seat as well.
