City of Johns Creek is moving forward with plans to hire the firm 'Urban Design Associates' to design a commercial district & downtown. The area is approximately 800 acres, including Tech Park from Abbotts Bridge Rd up to McGinnis Ferry Rd.

This is beyond ridiculous. Follow the money... If we wanted to live and raise our children in Buckhead we would have moved there. If we can spend money on this proposal, which more than likely has already been spent, we could certainly have put together a modest election process to fill the empty seat (s) at city council.
