Shakerag Tower to go in Forsyth County

City of Johns Creek & Forsyth County will enter an IGA to place the "Shakerag Tower" just off McGinnis Ferry Rd on the Forsyth County Side among 2 other cell towers. The Radio Tower will be less then 200 feet.

Forsyth County has requested modification to the IGA that if a private party locates on the tower, the County gets 100% of the proceeds.

Forsyth County is expected to approve the IGA in its consent agenda during its March 5th meeting.

The Georgia Record was relaunched in June of 2021 and has been extremely successful fighting corruption in the state named after King George of England. The original paper was started in 1899 and published into the early 20th century. In 2020, CDM (Creative Destruction Media) acquired Johns Creek Post and brought back The Georgia Record to better represent the state rather than just Johns Creek News.
