2 Johns Creekers Vying for Sheriff! Fulton County Sheriff Department is responsible for over $100 million budget per year. The department has been rife with overcrowding, low staff, security concerns & lawsuits.

Both men seeking the Fulton County Sheriff post, hail from Johns Creek.

Ben Cowart lives off Medlock Bridge Rd, and totes his business experience for improving the Fulton County Jail. Here is Mr. Cowart's Campaign disclosure.

Ted Jackson lives off Buice Rd, though he uses an Atlanta address for his campaign. He's led the troubled department for years.

Ted Jackson has amassed a treasure chest of donations over the years. As a career politician and incumbent, you'd think he knows how to fill out the campaign disclosure forms correctly?

The column for occupation and employer is blank, for ALL his donors. Secretary of State includes this in the forms, as it is important information for the voter. Have a look here at Ted Jackson's Campaign disclosures...

The Georgia Record was relaunched in June of 2021 and has been extremely successful fighting corruption in the state named after King George of England. The original paper was started in 1899 and published into the early 20th century. In 2020, CDM (Creative Destruction Media) acquired Johns Creek Post and brought back The Georgia Record to better represent the state rather than just Johns Creek News.

This is serious. Last year a bunch of pervs were arrested for soliciting to children. Because of the lack of jail space, all were sent home. None to minimal jail time.
