JOHNS CREEK, Georgia -- Shakerag Elementary School & Holy Redeemer Catholic School both have won a coveted National Blue Ribbon Awards from the U.S. Department of Education. The 2 Johns Creek Schools Awarded National Blue Ribbons were among 13 Georgia schools and 349 public and private schools nationwide to receive the honor. Both schools were identified as: “Exemplary High Performing” schools have their state’s highest high school graduation rates and the highest achieving students (the top 15%) in English and mathematics, measured by state assessments.
