Today, President Donald Trump said that he will be imposing a 100% tariff on "any and all movies that are made outside of the United States".

"Our movie making business has been stolen from the United States of America, by other Countries, just like stealing 'candy from a baby'", he posted on Truth Social.

Hollywood has been hit by declining sales due to a focus on 'woke' themes which has destroyed the industry's credibility.

Really insightful, good movies are rarely made in the mainline commercial space.

Chinese influence on Hollywood studios is also a major problem.

The move should give an economic shot in the arm to Georgia's robust homegrown movie industry.
