Fox 5 (Atlanta) reported that some Union City residents are pushing back against plans to build a new data center near a subdivision.
One resident said, "I am thoroughly disappointed. It's as though they are not listening."
The mayor said," The type of revenue that comes in is almost unimagineable."
The resident agrees, but thinks the facilities should be built in the city's industrial areas. He is concerned about environmental impacts and increased costs to consumers.

I realize this article is almost 1 month old, but we don't need the data centers and unfortunately, our country is buying into them nation-wide.
I recommend people read up on this, as this company does massive computing on existing hardware. All the rage is AI and they need data centers to process AI, but it's at a high expense, our electricity and our environment. They're going to ravage our country for AI and move on to their next toy.
