CDM/The Georgia Record, along with several other plaintiffs, yesterday filed a motion to prevent the GA GOP from permanently sealing records of its transition to a corporate structure, aside from a political party, in violation of Georgia election law.

Required documents showing the GA GOP is a political party no longer exist at the GA Secretary of State, or the GA archives.

The fear is the Georgia Republican Party no longer exists as a political party, only as a corporation, illegally assuming the powers of a political party.

This is fascism.

The Georgia Record was relaunched in June of 2021 and has been extremely successful fighting corruption in the state named after King George of England. The original paper was started in 1899 and published into the early 20th century. In 2020, CDM (Creative Destruction Media) acquired Johns Creek Post and brought back The Georgia Record to better represent the state rather than just Johns Creek News.
