A deputy stabbed last night is out of the hospital, while an intense manhunt continues for the man suspected of killing his grandmother.

At an afternoon briefing, Sheriff Chip Hughes says there are no new sightings for Dominic Connelly, but multiple resources have been deployed, including drones and helicopters.

“We’re hot on his heels. We’re keeping him running, but it’s very important to understand that this is a dangerous person,” Hughes said. “Therefore, all of our resources will go after him. This is the number one priority from my office.”
