Teen Republican Leader JaQuon Stembridge Resigns After Alleged Underage Incident

The leader of the Georgia Teen Republicans - JaQuon Stembridge - was confronted yesterday by an unknown person while allegedly trying to meet an underage boy, apparently on a dating app. We have no confirmation of the texts posted with the video below, allegedly showing some of the interaction with the supposed minor.

Stembridge can be seen in the video swearing he is 17; he is 19.

Stembridge has resigned his position.

The post by @AFPost was released at 1:39am this morning and was spread around quickly, accumulating over 100k views.

Stembridge has been very public about his intention to run against GA GOP head Josh McKoon for control of the GA GOP in the recent post.

The AJC reported in July of this year -- How an 18-year-old college student won a leadership position in Georgia GOP.

Newly elected Georgia GOP Secretary JaQuon Stembridge was caught in a child sex predator sting, allegedly attempting to meet a 14-year-old boy.

He chairs the Georgia Teen Republicans, a high school organization, and is a member of the Georgia Young Republicans.
