Fani Willis' attorney has indicated that she will defy two subpoenas from Georgia's State Senate committee investigating her conduct.

Many deem this a surprising and perhaps unwise move given the information gathered in recent days regarding her continued relationship with Nathan Wade, something she denied when asked in court. When Willis was called to the scene of her daughters arrest, Willis was videoed emerging from a car accompanied by Nathan Wade. An apparent departure from her earlier claims that the relationship had ended.

Questions have also surfaced in other areas of Willis life. Several article have focused on Willis wealth (estimated at over $8 million) and how it was acquired. Many question how she could have amassed this wealth given her annual earnings as a laywer estimated at $110,000.

Daily Express indicated her wealth is made up of $5 million in real estate (said to be across several states) $2 million in securities along with holdings in Gold and cash.
