David Cross, a widely known election integrity researcher and advocate released a statement confirming his run for Georgia GOP Chairman.

Mr. Cross' release read in part, "Like Trump, Cross is a political outsider dedictaed to bringing a new vision and fresh energy to grow the republican majority.

Cross further stated, "It is time to return he Party to the People."

Since June 2023 many Georgia Republicans have questioned the deciion-making process within the Georgia GOP. They cite, for example decisions such as bringing in high-end "black suit" security into the last GOP State Convention, a venue that has typically called on the GOP's own County and District Sargent at Arms to assist local authorities for such duties.
