Since June 2023, the Georgia record has called out the existence of a corporation acting in place of the Georgia Republican Party combined with a questionable lack of documents that would show whether the Georgia Republican Party still exists.
Instead, beginning with the formation of a corporation with a similar name by John Padgett during his term as Chairman, there now appears to be something called the Georgia Republican Party, Inc.

In the past months we reported on the court case between John Padgett and the Georgia Republican Party, Inc which has long been said as a stepping stone to resolving the strange organizational questions.
In August of 2024, Josh McKoon CEO of the Georgia Republican Party, Inc., who claims to also be the Chairman of the (Georgia Republican Party) through their attorney, Alex Kaufman, filed a document with Fulton Superior Court confirming what many researchers have previously asserted, that the Georgia Republican Party, Inc. "...has no members..."

GOP leaders have consistently pointed to documents including their "Rules" as evidence that the Georgia Republican Party still exists as a true party. (not a corporation). The problem is when comparing the document shown above which was filed with the court, with the "Rules," the documents seem to contradict one another.
The Rules of the Georgia Republican Party, Inc. appear below and state that this version has been in place since 2020 from David Shafer. A search of the documents confirms the use of the word "member" or "members" in 100 places within the document.

In a video made to promote his run for GOP "Chairman" he appeared to make the organization/corporate/membership issue a top priority.
Following his election in June 2023 he has avoided addressing the issue, at one stage promising and failing to assist with any documents showing the continued existence of the Georgia Republican Party (the real party.)
Now McKoon and the attorney for the Georgia Republican Party, Inc. asked the court to cause the Georgia Republican Party, Inc. agreement document to be sealed away from public eyes in perpetuity (meaning forever.)
