The Georgia Record has been contacted by concerned parents in Georgia that have recently moved from Fairfield County, Connecticut, regarding the coming placement of Dr. Alexandra Estrella to the position of superintendent of Gwinnett County Public Schools.
The Gwinnett County Board of Education announced Wednesday that Dr. Alexandra Estrella has been selected as the sole finalist to serve as the next superintendent of Gwinnett County Public Schools, reported Fox5.

A group of concerned parents contacted CDM/The Georgia Record due to the track record and ideological bent of Dr. Estralla, saying she is 'woke AF'.

A source in CT told our paper ConnecticutCentinal.com, "One more thing about this superintendent… the Norwalk kiddos held a walkout with HUNDREDS of kids leaving school to walk... i think it was more than a mile or two to get to a point to protest against ICE."
Another source said, "The Norwalk lady managed a 14,000 student district and Gwinnett county is the largest with 180,000+. There are alarms going off with all my colleagues."
The Georgia Record has reached out to the Gwinnett County School Board for comment, and have requested an interview on the issue.
