WATCH: Georgia Family Went Out To Look At Christmas Lights. When They Came Back, Their House Was Gone

WSB-TV (Atlanta) reported that a family in Carroll County west of Atlanta went out to look at Christmas lights. But while out, a fire started and burned the house to the ground.

The house was built just two years ago.

The family is grateful to firefighters that rescued their two dogs from the burning house.

The cause of the fire hasn't yet been determined, but investigators, said the homeowner, think it might have started from a lithium battery.

"It's a Christmas miracle that we are all still alive," said the homeowner.
