Last month, WSB-TV news (Atlanta) reported on the double life of a fifth-grade school teacher, that was convicted of gang violence.
The victims were an 11-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy. The murders occurred back in 2016 in Jonesboro.
The news reporter referred to the convicted teacher as a "hard core Crips gang member".
According to representatives in the Clayton County District Attorney's office, "He was kicking in doors at night and killing children, and going on teaching children in the morning."
"Two innocent lives were lost."
A Clayton County jury convicted the school teacher on 44 counts, including murder and gang charges.
The convicted man's lawyer said this was an unjustified conviction.
