11 Alive and Fox 5 in Atlanta reported on Monday night about a string of shootings in a day in DeKalb County, tied to one 26-year-old suspect.

The shootings took place outside a Checkers fast-food restaurant at 12:50 AM, in front of a Kroger supermarket at 2 AM, and then involving a woman walking her dog on a residential street at 6:30 AM.

At the Checkers, a woman died after being shot multiple times.

At a Kroger supermarket, a homeless man was shot multiple times while sleeping outside and is in critical condition.

Then a woman was killed, shot and stabbed, while walking her dog.

The suspect, driving a rental car, was later pulled over in his car and arrested southwest of Atlanta. Police tracked the rental car's movement.

The Fox 5 reporter said that police believe the three attacks were random, and if not caught, the suspect would have killed again.
