Last evening John McKoon, Chairman of the Georgia Republican Party, Inc. issued a statement announcing the resignation of Brant Frost V from his role on the GOP State Committee and also that Frost will be resigning from the Coweta County GOP where he has served as Chairman.

The news comes as many Republicans across Georgia have called out McKoon (and Frost) for lack of action or answers following the Georgia GOP State Convention and announcement of First Liberty Building and Loan collapse.

More victims of the collapse continue to come forward, many having lost a substantial portion of their life savings by falling for a Ponzi scheme concocted by Brant Frost IV. Other family members are said to be under scrutiny with Brant Frost V being subpoenaed and Krista Frost (mother) having been found contributing $3,500 to Kandiss Taylor just days before announcement of First Liberty collapse.

This move by Brant Frost V leaves many wondering why Katie Frost and Krista Frost continue to hold GOP leadership roles at the State, District and County levels.

Conservatives across Georgia place part of the blame for their continued participation on Josh McKoon saying that a real "leader" of the GOP would take swift action to clean up the ranks of the GOP given the discoveries about First Liberty and the Frost family.

Perhaps McKoon has forgotten the decades old adage often attributed to Lee Atwater: "Perception is Reality."

The current perception of the Georgia GOP, Inc. is an organization that has a lot to hide and intends to keep these things hidden as long as possible.
