Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) has usually been the focus of snearing condescension and jokes for years in today's far left media. But today, shockingly, Marjorie Taylor Greene received praise from MSNBC and Joy Behar on The View.

What caused this earthquake?

Both media outlets were discussing the Jeffrey Epstein case.

Watch the clip from The View with Joy Behar talking about Marjorie Taylor Greene.

Joy Behar praised Marjorie Taylor Greene, Nancy Mace and Lauren Boebert after they spoke out in defense of the female victims impacted by Jeffrey Epstein.

“Wasn’t it heartening to see Marjorie Taylor Greene and Nancy Mace and Lauren Boebert sticking up for the Epstein victims?” Behar asked her co-hosts, “I was happy to see that. Usually, I’m not on their side. And there they were because they’re women and they care. Good for them.”

Title of opinion article on MSNBC website, September 9, 2025.

Next up, MSNBC ran an opinion article entitled "How Marjorie Taylor Greene could help Epstein's survivors get closer to justice" by Ray Brescia, professor of law, Albany Law School. His piece was arguably less "praise" and more putting forth her unique and powerful role to get closer to the truth concerning the Epstein controversy and the men that were involved in that.

In the article, he writes, "Yet one of [Trump's] most ardent supporters, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., has said she will side with the survivors of Epstein’s sex trafficking operation. And Greene can use one of the most powerful tools of her office to aid them."

He's referring to the "speech and debate" clause in the Constitution, "members of Congress have immunity for statements and acts carried out as part of their official duties, especially when they make statements within the legislative chambers or pursuant to their legitimate legislative powers."

Brescia continues, "That immunity allows Greene to say, as she did last week, that if the survivors 'want to give me a list, I will walk in that Capitol on the House floor and I’ll say every damn name that abused these women. I can do that for them, and I’d be proud to do it.' Unlike the victims who might speak out, then, Greene, Massie and any federal legislator who wants to communicate the testimony of the victims would be completely immune from claims of defamation for their statements."

My advice to MSNBC and The View, still deep in their far left silos: especially after five years of bonker left political and social madness, and ongoing political realignments, sometimes it's best to focus on one's values, and rethink things. Sometimes, Rep. Greene is absolutely fantastic. Hopefully, they are genuinely beginning to see that, that they also want the truth to come forward in itself, or is this just a cynical move against their enemy Trump?
