Members of the Georgia GOP state committee, other GOP leaders and certain elected officials have issued a demand letter to Josh McKoon chairman of the GOP.
The letter details numerous concerns and asks for charges to be brought, and a trial to be held, for removal of Brant Frost V, Katie Frost and Krista Frost from their current positions within the State, District, and County GOP organizations.
The letter goes on to detail the actions of Frost family members in their connections with First Liberty Building and Loan. First Liberty is caught up in SEC, Federal and State investigations revolving around an alleged $140 million Ponzi scheme which now is reported to have stretched across 38 states.
Following what many say are manipulations and improper procedures which occurred during the Georgia GOP state convention in June, formal complaints have been lodged with McKoon as well as the Republican National Committee.
MccKoon has been largely silent about the complaints, but has taken time to issue statements on certain unrelated current events across the Country.
After receiving complaints at the RNC level, hen Chairman, Michael Whatley issued a statement that the complaints had been forwarded to a "Dispute Committee." The Georgia Record has received no information since that time regarding further statements by the RNC.
The Letter may be read or downloaded below:
Contents of the Letter appear below:
Dear Chairman Josh McKoon,
I pray you are having a blessed day and that our Father God in heaven is with us all this evening with the tragedy of our friend and patriot Charlie Kirk. But this evening I bring forth pressing issues that must be addressed as soon as possible. Please see attached letter and supporting documents. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Kind Regards,
Angela Rubino

September 10, 2025
Dear Chairman, Josh McKoon,
We are reaching out to you today with major concerns with the Frost family and to bring charges and demand a trial before the State Committee of the Georgia Republican Party for the removal of:
1) Brant Frost V - 3rd Congressional District Committee Member
2) Katie Frost – Chairwoman 3rd Congressional District, Chair of GA GOP Financial Oversight Committee
3) Krista Frost - Coweta GOP 2nd Vice Chair, 3rd Congressional District Secretary and State Committee
Member
Based upon the following allegations of fact:
1) Having direct involvement as executives, directors, agents or members of First Liberty Building and
Loan, LLC and its affiliates, including First Liberty Capital Partners LLC, First National Investments,
LLC, MyHealthAI Capital, LLC, The Legacy Advisory Group, Inc., The Liberty Group, LLC, and other
entities known and unknown, in, or as recipients of proceeds from, a $140 million Ponzi scheme as
further described in SEC v. Edwin Brant Frost IV and First Liberty Building & Loan, LLC et al, C.A. F.N.
1:25-CV-03826,
2) Per the SEC complaint dated July 10, 2025, misappropriated investor funds were used to make
payments to FROST FAMILY members in excess of $5 million (Summary, #15)
3) Predatory marketing towards Republicans and Christians (AP article)
4) Misuse of Republican delegate list to sell investments (Emails attached)
5) The Receiver’s report dated July 21, 2025, states, “First Liberty appears to have that directly, indirectly
or though the FROST FAMILY made almost 1,000 political “donations” totaling over $1 million using
investor funds.” (II. First Report, iv. Donations and Political Contributions, #25)
Chairman McKoon, these facts, if proven, indicate conduct detrimental to the Republican Party of Georgia and a violation of trust within the organization and membership. This is a stain on our brand, our platform and we cannot afford for our candidates to be labeled with this scarlet letter during the upcoming campaign cycle.
Therefore, the above-mentioned officers are subject for removal according to Section 7.5(A) and 8.16(A) of the
GA GOP Rules.1
In light of Katie Frost’s appointment by you, in your official capacity as Chairman of the Georgia Republican Party, to serve as Chair of the Financial Oversight Committee at the GA GOP State Committee meeting held on June 5, 2025, in Dalton, Georgia, her immediate removal from this position is both necessary and warranted.
As a director of First Liberty Building & Loan and in connection with the alleged misappropriation of funds by that entity, Mrs. Frost faces a clear and disqualifying conflict of interest. Allowing her to remain in an oversight
1 In the case of District officials, a referral should be immediately made to the 3rd District GOP Committee for proceedings under District Rules. See GA § 8.16 If remedial action has not been taken within 30 days following the notice, the matter shall be set before the State Committee.
capacity under these circumstances would expose the Georgia Republican Party to further reputational harm and risk undermining Republican candidates in the upcoming election cycle. (FEC records & Club for Growth website archive attached)
Furthermore, due to a direct and documented conflict of interest, Alex Kaufman, current legal counsel for the Georgia Republican Party, is disqualified from representing the Party in proceedings concerning the removal of the Frost family from leadership.
Mr. Kaufman is a partner at Chalmers, Adams, Backer & Kaufman, LLC, a firm that has been compensated in connection with the Frosts’ financial dealings.
Specifically, the Consent Judgement entered into with Truist Bank provides: “IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that notwithstanding the foregoing restrictions set forth in Section V, Truist Bank shall transfer $34,733.64 from the First Liberty Capital Funding account ending in 2852 to the law firm of Chalmers, Adams, Backer & Kaufman, LLC to pay outstanding legal fees incurred by First Liberty Capital Partners LLC prior to the initiation of this action.” (Page 12, VII)
This payment creates a material conflict of interest that precludes Mr. Kaufman and his firm from serving as counsel to the Georgia Republican Party in any matter involving the Frosts.
In closing, we respectfully bring these charges and demand a trial be held on the earliest possible date to remove the members of the Frost family mentioned above.
Respectfully, the Undersigned.

Josh McKoon appears to care nothing about the reputation of the GAGOP. It's not surprising since he's so closely aligned and beholden to his boss and partner in crime, Brian Kemp, who relegated the organization to the trash heap soon after the stolen 2020 and a disastrous appearance at the 2021 GAGOP Convention where he was booed off the stage by an angry delegation. It wouldn't surprise me if the plot to install McKoon was hatched after that.
Let's skip the legal procedings. Josh removes the Frosts from all positions in the Republican Party or he resigns his position as chairman of the Republican Party. He will probably not do this so all of the signatory persons should resolve to resign from the Republican Party. I've already resigned my position as Gwinnett Sixth District precinct manager. I am not working as an unpaid employee for a corporation that indulges Ponzis and, most likely, various money laundering schemes.
