Those that follow actor James Woods on X / Twitter have witnessed his fiery criticism of California Governor Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass. Woods resided in a Pacific Palisades neighborhood that went up in flames in January 2025.
Last Wednesday on Twitter, Woods applauded President Trump for his recent speech at the UN, calling him "a lion".
Woods frequently comments on far left insanity.
One of his early films in which he was a supporting actor was "Raid on Entebbe" (1977). The film was based on a real-life terrorism hijacking of a plane from Tel Aviv to Paris via Athens. The plane was flown to Kampala, Uganda and notorious dictator Idi Amin became involved in the negotations for the release of hostages. But Israeli military flew in, took over the airport, and got the hostages home to safety.
The hijackers included members of the Palestine Libertation Organization (PLO) and the radical far left Baader Meinhof group out of Germany.
With crazy groupings like "Queers for Palestine", Tr / Antifa, and pro-Hamas demonstrators in the West, the film depicting the hijacking is a noteworthy historical reference.
See "Raid on Entebbe" (1977), with James Woods in the supporting actor role of Capt. Sammy Berg.
Also see the chilling BBC documentary on the far left Baader Meinhof (Red Army Faction), "In love with terror". Meinhof was a far left journalist. The group had a significant number of university-aged supporters. The group was also involved in assassinations.
