President Trump posted the following today on his Truth Social Account:
"I am withdrawing my support and Endorsement of “Congresswoman” Marjorie Taylor Greene, of the Great State of Georgia. Over the past few weeks, despite my creating Record Achievements for our Country including, a Total and Complete Victory on the Shutdown, Closed Borders, Low Taxes, No Men in Women’s Sports or Transgender for Everyone, ending DEI, stopping Biden’s Record Setting Inflation, Biggest Regulation Cuts in History, stopping EIGHT WARS, rebuilding our Military, being RESPECTED by every Country in the World (as opposed to being the laughingstock that we were just 12 months ago!), having Trillions of Dollars (Record Setting!) INVESTED in the U.S.A., and having created the “HOTTEST” Country anywhere in the World from being a DEAD Country just 12 months ago (and so much more!), all I see “Wacky” Marjorie do is COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN! It seemed to all begin when I sent her a Poll stating that she should not run for Senator, or Governor, she was at 12%, and didn’t have a chance (unless, of course, she had my Endorsement — which she wasn’t about to get!). She has told many people that she is upset that I don’t return her phone calls anymore, but with 219 Congressmen/women, 53 U.S. Senators, 24 Cabinet Members, almost 200 Countries, and an otherwise normal life to lead, I can’t take a ranting Lunatic’s call every day. I understand that wonderful, Conservative people are thinking about primarying Marjorie in her District of Georgia, that they too are fed up with her and her antics and, if the right person runs, they will have my Complete and Unyielding Support. She has gone Far Left, even doing The View, with their Low IQ Republican hating Anchors. Thank you for your attention to this matter. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!"
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has been vocal recently about Trump's H-1B visa comments and policy, as well as the Jeffrey Epstein issue, among other things.
The Trump administration is taking arrows for reversing policy on several key issues.
It is unclear if MTG is preparing to run for higher office, and therefore working to distance herself from the Trump administration. MTG was working with Kevin McCarthy against the America First movement in the past, after coming out strong for Trump in the beginning, and taking a lot of heat from the left.
It is confusing to parse all the current hidden agendas.
Georgia's BKP, former First Vice Chair of the GA GOP opined for The Georgia Record on the situation...
President Donald Trump is trying to scare MTG by pulling his endorsement before the Epstien file vote. This also sends a message to weak members of congress he could do the same to them...
Members of congress phones are ringing off the hook asking them to vote to release the Epstein file.
They have the votes in the house and Trump needs to stop it in the House... don't forget when it goes to the senate John Kennedy from Louisiana has said release the entire file... the Senate is a real toss up.
Why is Trump working so hard to stop the file from being releases? His actions is causing people to ask that question and we now definitely want to see the file.
Trump also mentioned 2 Georgia races. The Senate and Governor race.
MTG ask Trump to endorse her and he refused.
Trump has endorsed Lt. Governor Burt Jones for Governor who's dad Bill Jones is a major donor to Trump.
Trump has not endorsed in the Senate race. Governor Brian Kemp has endorse Derek Dooley for Senate. Kemp holds the key to dismissing the RICO case against Trump.
Don't get shocked if Kemp trades the RICO case for a Derek Dooley Trump endorsement...
The HB-1 Visa is a direct hit at Hyundai.... Kemp and Trump are working together on this for Hyundai... Georgia is a Korean colony.
