Incumbent Democrat U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff from the great state of Georgia is running against GOP Candidate Mike Collins in the general election in November.

The Ossoff campaign is reportedly one of the biggest recipients of 'smurf money', otherwise known as illegal campaign finance money laundering. The Georgia Record has reported on FEC complaints filed against Ossoff and his various political committees alleging the receipt of hundreds of millions of dollars in 'smurf money'.

You can read the reporting on the complaint here.

Ossoff has called the SAVE Act (Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act, which would require proof of citizenship and photo ID for federal elections) a "nakedly partisan, totally unworkable, bad faith bill cynically intended to disenfranchise millions of eligible voters."

Ossoff supports the Right to Vote Act (which he introduced), which would enshrine a federal right to vote and allow challenges to any state or local policies that make voting harder—including certain ID rules—unless they meet a high bar (necessary government purpose and least restrictive means).

Ossoff doesn't want states to impose a voter ID requirement, but required an ID to get into his event in Savannah.

    This is hypocrisy of course.
