Police in Savannah are searching for a possibly barricaded suspect who may be armed after an aggravated assault involving gunfire, authorities said, writes WJCL.

The assault was reported about 11:10 a.m. near Abercorn Street and Steveson Avenue, police said. Investigators said a person got out of a car and fired at an occupied vehicle, then got back into the car and fled.

Georgetown K-8 school lifted its lockdown after no suspect found.
