Atlanta, GA (Sept. 19, 2025) - Adding to the number of employees getting fired or put on administrative leave, WXIA TV news (11 Alive) reported that an employee at Emory University was fired over a social media post about the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

According to NBC News, over three dozen educators nationwide have lost their jobs or resigned over comments related to Kirk's killing, said the WXIA TV news presenter.
