Macon, GA (Oct. 5, 2025) - WMAZ TV news reported on a Macon-based hog hunter Shane Stewart, who said, "Hog hunting is my adrenaline."

According to TV news presenter Maggie Fitzgerald, "After trapping feral hogs in his own neighborhood, he's expanding his reach to other counties."

Stewart said that the feral animals were damaging cars and digging up yards. The Georgia Department of Natural Resources says the animals also carry diseases, and they can be a danger to small animals and humans.
