Fox 5 TV news in Atlanta reported on the new usage of robotic security "dogs" in the Castleberry Hill neighborhood southwest of downtown.

Residents were reportedly fed up with the crime.

Some residents told Fox 5 that the robotic dogs are the solution to their problem.

The "dogs" patrol a parking lot in a gated area and outside the perimeter of GE Lofts.

The dogs communicate with authorities.

The news journalist said before that the residents tried everything to combat the criminals: bright lighting, barbed wire at the top of the fence, etc.
