New Logo Cost $82k!. The City contracted North Star Destination Strategies in 2013 for $82,000.
The Full Roll Out of implementing will cost an additional $150k.
These costs cover City Hall Interior Signage, Car/Truck Decals, Shirts, & Public Works Signage Phase 1: Park entrance & Overhead Street Signs.
Not included in these calculations is the Public Works Way finder Signage and Gateway Signs. Those costs could easily add up to an additional $100k or more depending on materials, size and such. This would require City Council approval to design and construct.

What a neat community involvement activity this COULD have been if a contest had been held from our hugely talented population for submissions of logo and slogan ideas. And that could have been FREE, engaged our citizens in the whole process, and honored people for making a valuable contribution to the city. What a shame the city officials missed this opportunity to get the people of Johns Creek involved in the branding of our city.
I agree....offer a prize of a grand and have every kid, college student and adult submit entries..Bet we'd would have had a great winner.....and saved 82K, too.
