• Johns Creek Push Poll Questions | What's Their True Agenda?

    Hot Topic:

Johns Creek Push Poll! Voters in Johns Creek are being contacted with a Push Poll, attempting to shape opinions about a specific candidate. Can you be for a candidate, if they are against the issues that are important to you?

That would be a awesome service for someone to communicate that to you if it was accurate.  But all too often it is not.

For example, how can a candidate be questioning TSPLOST projects if they are for addressing traffic congestion?   That has a rather simple explanation, given the pertinent facts.

Not every TSPLOST project on the list is going to be a positive for Johns Creek residents.  Rather than putting our government on autopilot, don't we want to make sure that we are doing the best possible job for Johns Creek residents?

    What they are really doing...

Is suggesting to you, without any rebuttal from the candidate is that unless they support without question each and every project, then that they are not actually for improving traffic conditions in Johns Creek.  In this instance, with Council Member Chris Coughlin's work on traffic lights, walk to school programs, Waze Carpool, and other initiatives, nothing could be further from the truth.

Is this really how campaigns will be run in Johns Creek this fall?   Would it not be better to actually see a debate between the candidates on their platforms rather than attempting to implicate a candidate with carefully chosen phrases hoping that you do not put things together?

If you receive this poll, challenge yourself to question the objectives. Are half-truths and false assumptions enough to shape your election decision in Johns Creek?

    What are your thoughts?

    For instance: Are you for...

    • Public safety at any cost?
    • Public parks at any cost?
    • City Hall, at any cost?
    • Traffic projects, regardless of whether they relieve congestion or not?

The choice is ultimately yours.  But please make sure it is your decision based on facts and not a decision based on campaign rhetoric passing itself off as an opinion poll.

The Push Poll Survey appears to know exactly WHO YOU ARE. On the bottom, it states the "survey link is unique to you".

It asks to verify your Gender & Age Range.

Lastly, in the email, it states, the purpose is to "improve the political process in Georgia".

I think the person(s) putting negative signs up need to go back to kindergarten and learn how to "play nice".
Putting up signs saying don't vote for this candidate is sooooo juvenile. Chris C. has done a great job on city council , He deserves another term. The people putting up those negative signs, need to move out of our city....it's embarrassing.
