Last month, Fox 4 TV news (Dallas-Forth Worth) reported on a shooting in the parking lot of a Waffle House in metro Dallas, Texas that left an 18-year-old, high school senior paralyzed from the waist down.

"Nothing is expected to be the same," said the Fox 4 reporter, after speaking with the young man's father. The teen had been working two jobs, was a Richardson High School basketball player, and was set to go to college in the fall.

His son found five guys jump on his friends and went to help, according to his father. It is thought that the conflict started over a girl.

Richardson Police say multiple people fired gun shots, and the police released photos of five persons of interest.

At the time of the report, a third person was arrested, charged with deadly conduct, but the suspected shooter that paralyzed the high school senior had yet to be identified. The police have asked the public for assistance with a $5000 reward for information leading to an arrest and indictment.
