In March, we reported on robotic security dogs now in Atlanta in the Castleberry Hill neighborhood southwest of downtown. Residents were reportedly fed up with the crime.

Since, in early June, WSB-TV news (Atlanta) reported that the robotic security dogs helped catch a car thief suspect. Hooray!

Police continue to investigate.

"We saw someone trying to break in cars," said the CEO of Undaunted Robotics that utilizes robotic dogs in security. "We called police, deployed the robots. When the officers arrived, we helped them, provided the information to make the arrest, and help secure that property."

He believes this is a security solution for the future, reported the TV news reporter.

WSB-TV news also showed video of a robotic security dog that identified suspected burglars at another apartment complex.
