Dorsey's post was made Tuesday night at 10:43pm and has already received 3.4 million views. Elon Musk replied soon after Dorsey's post with a single character "!"

The original quote regarded "splintering the CIA" and has long been attributed to Kennedy by sources including the New York Times:

Here's the NYT piece: Wicker, Tom et al. "C.I.A.: Maker of Policy, or Tool?; Survey Finds Widely Feared Agency Is Tightly Controlled"New York Times (April 24, 1966): "said to one of the highest officials of his Administration that he (Kennedy) wanted 'to splinter the C.I.A. in a thousand pieces and scatter it to the winds.'

What did Dorsey mean by his post? We don't know, but millions are taking notice.
