The Georgia House is proposing an appropriations Bill that includes a number of elements associated with the Mental Health Bill 520, a bill which the public resoundingly rejected last year.

Rep. Matt Hatchett introduced the appropriations measure which is also sponsored by Jon Burns.

Interestingly while they propose to allocate large amounts of funding, they have avoided re-introduction of HB 520 itself. Why? Because they know it would be met this year with opposition likely greater than last year?

And what is happening with the SURPLUS of a reported $16 Billion dollars + (which should be given back to Georgian's)?

The Georgia Freedom Caucus is also providing information on the Appropriations Bill and calling out the concerns.
